Use the Manifest on your phone

Open the Manifest in a phone browser and use its options menu to group by time or activity, switch Table and Timeline, filter, pick a saved layout, and print.

You can open the Manifest in your phone's browser the same way you do on a computer. It's the same screen with fewer controls, tucked into one options menu, so it's easy to use standing on a dock or at a trailhead.

Before you begin. Opening the Manifest requires the View manifest permission. It comes with the built-in Owner group, or any custom permission group that includes it. If you don't see the option, you don't have that permission yet, so ask an account admin to grant it to you.

Open the options menu

On a phone, the top bar shows the date with previous and next arrows, plus a layers button and a hamburger button. Either one opens the Manifest options panel, which slides in from the right. It holds:

  • Group By: Time, activity, or Pickup when pickup locations are on for your account.
  • View Mode: Table or Timeline.
  • Quick Filter: a Filter bookings... box. A dot appears on the hamburger while a filter is on.
  • Layout: Default Layout plus every saved layout, A to Z. See Customize Manifest columns and saved views.
  • Print: turned off when the day has no bookings.

Choosing most items closes the panel so you're back to the list.

What's different on a phone

To keep the screen usable, a few controls are hidden:

  • The Table, Timeline, and Seats tabs, which move into the options menu.
  • The timeslot list on the left.
  • Cancel all for the day, Save view, and CSV export.
  • The Book and Edit buttons on each timeslot.
  • Timeslot message, cancel, and status actions.

Check-in buttons and notes on each reservation are still there. For cancellations, messaging a timeslot, or editing views, use a computer.

  • Switch to the boat captain's layout: open the menu and pick the saved layout from the list.
  • Print the day's sheet: choose Print in the menu and print from your browser.
  • See the day by resource: set View Mode to Timeline.
