Set your default Manifest and Calendar view

A saved view captures how you like a screen laid out: its grouping, sorting, columns, and filters. The Manifest and the Calendar each remember your choice, but in different ways. In this article Manifest: it remembers your last view Calendar:...

Booking statuses

Each guest on a trip has a booking status that shows where they are, such as Not Checked In, Checked In, or No Show. You can add your own statuses and give each a color, so your team can read...

Assigning seats from the manifest

Once an activity is connected to a published seat map, you'll assign guests to specific seats before each trip using the Seat Assignment view, opened from the Manifest. In this article Example uses FAQ Before you begin. Opening the Seats...

Show resource times on the manifest

The manifest can show when each resource on a booking is out and when it's back, right next to the resource's name. Turn on Show resource times under the Resources column, and every guide, vehicle, boat, or piece of equipment...

Skip the balance-due popup at check-in

By default, TripWorks shows an Outstanding Balance popup when a staff member checks in a guest who hasn't fully paid, whether they check in from the Actions column on the Manifest or from inside the booking. That's a helpful prompt...

What the booking icons on the Manifest mean

A few small icons can show up to the left of a booking on the Manifest. Each one flags something worth a second look: a brand-new booking, an unpaid balance, a voucher that's still needed, or a booking that came...

Customize Manifest columns and saved views

Different jobs need different information. A front-desk agent checking guests in wants names, waivers, and balances. A guide wants resources and pickup times. You can show only the columns each person needs, then save the layout as a view and...

Table and Timeline views on the Manifest

The Manifest has two main ways to look at a day. Table lists every booking with its guests, status, and balance. Timeline lays the day out by resource and hour, so you can see who or what is where, and...

Print the Manifest

Captains, guides, and front-desk teams often want a paper head-count in hand. You can print the Manifest for the whole day, for a single activity, or for one timeslot, and choose how the page is laid out before it goes...

Message guests from the Manifest

When a trip changes, you can tell everyone on it at once: a weather delay, a new meeting spot, a time change. Pick a message template, check who's included, and send, all from the Manifest. In this article Send a...

Notes and custom field values on the Manifest

The Manifest is where your team reads the day's details, so it's also where they can add them. You can leave notes on a trip or a timeslot, and fix a guest's custom field answers without opening the trip. In...

Waivers on the Manifest

At check-in you need to know one thing fast: has everyone signed? The Manifest shows each reservation's waiver status at a glance and lets you fix it on the spot, by marking a paper waiver signed, sending a reminder, or...

Group actions on the Manifest

On a busy day you rarely act on one guest at a time. The Manifest gives you shortcuts that apply to a whole reservation or a whole timeslot. This page explains each one, and what the Manifest can't do. In...

Use the Manifest on your phone

You can open the Manifest in your phone's browser the same way you do on a computer. It's the same screen with fewer controls, tucked into one options menu, so it's easy to use standing on a dock or at...
