When guests haven't signed their waiver yet, send them a waiver reminder — a message with the signing link — so they can take care of it before they arrive and check-in stays quick.

Send a waiver reminder
- Open the Manifest for the day and the activity.
- Open the Waivers panel and find the booking with an unsigned waiver.
- Expand that booking's reminder section. TripWorks shows the guest's email and phone — fill either in if it's missing.
- Send the reminder. The guest gets the message with a link to sign.
The reminder goes out by email and SMS, as long as the guest has an address or mobile number on file. It includes the link to their waiver, so they can sign from their phone before the activity.
Good to know
- Contact info is required. A guest with no email and no phone can't be reminded — add one first, right in the reminder panel.
- Automated reminders too. Beyond one-off nudges, a booking's automated event reminders can prompt guests to sign, and the order confirmation can include a "sign your waiver" button using a conditional block that only shows when waivers are unsigned.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I send a waiver reminder from?
From the Manifest — open the Waivers panel, find the booking with an unsigned waiver, and send the reminder from its reminder section.
Can I remind a guest who has no email on file?
Add a contact first. The reminder needs an email or a mobile number — you can enter one right in the reminder panel before sending.
Is there a way to prompt for waivers automatically?
Yes. Automated event reminders can nudge guests, and your confirmation email can show a "sign your waiver" button with a conditional block that appears only when the waiver is unsigned.
Do reminders still go to guests who've already signed?
No. Reminders target guests with an outstanding waiver — once a guest signs, they drop off the unsigned list and stop being reminded. A "sign your waiver" prompt in a confirmation email likewise only shows for guests who haven't signed yet.
How do I remove the "Sign Waiver" button from a confirmation — like a gift card receipt — where it doesn't belong?
That button is just a waiver link someone added to the template, so open that template in Setup → Sell online → Message Templates and delete it. If you'd rather it disappear on its own only when there's nothing to sign, wrap it in a conditional block set to show when waivers are unsigned — on a gift card receipt (no activity, no waiver) the block simply won't render.
