A saved view captures how you like a screen laid out: its grouping, sorting, columns, and filters. The Manifest and the Calendar each remember your choice, but in different ways.

Manifest: it remembers your last view
The Manifest has no "default view" setting. Instead, your browser remembers the last view you used, and the Manifest opens on it the next time you visit on that browser.
- Go to the Manifest.
- Select the layers icon next to the date and pick the saved view you want.
That's all. On a different browser or computer, pick the view once and it will be remembered there too. To build a view first, see Customize Manifest columns and saved views.
Saved Manifest views are shared with your whole account, but the view that opens for you is your own last choice, stored in your browser.
Calendar: choose a personal default
The Calendar does let you set a default view that opens automatically for you. Your default is personal and doesn't change what your teammates see.
- Go to the Calendar.
- Apply or build the view you want.
- When saving it, select Use this saved view as my default when viewing the calendar.
- Select Save.
To switch your default, save a different view with that box ticked. The most recently saved default wins. For the Calendar itself, see The Calendar view.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't my Manifest open on my saved view on another computer?
The Manifest remembers your last view in your browser, not on your account. On a new browser, pick the view once from the view chooser.
Can I set a default Manifest view for a team member?
No. Each person's browser remembers the view they used last. Name your views clearly so people can find the right one.
Can I set a default view for the Calendar?
Yes. Tick Use this saved view as my default when viewing the calendar when you save the view.
