Sometimes a booking that came in under a reseller needs to be paid by the guest directly instead — the reseller passed the payment back to the customer, or you'd rather not invoice the reseller for it. Converting to direct pay takes the booking off the reseller and lets you collect from the guest.

What converting does
- The booking is no longer attributed to the reseller.
- It's removed from the reseller's invoice, so the reseller isn't billed for it.
- You collect payment from the guest directly — at check-in or by any other method.
How to convert
- Open the booking and go to its Payments.
- Remove the reseller/invoice attribution (the ✕ next to the invoice status).
- Choose the new method and select Convert to Direct Pay.
- The booking switches to direct pay — now use Add a Payment to charge the guest.
Converting is the right tool when payment responsibility genuinely moves to the guest. If the reseller still owes you for the booking, leave it attributed and invoice the reseller instead.
