If you’re not seeing the conversion data you expect in Google Analytics after integrating with TripWorks, don’t worry—there are a few simple things to check. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot your setup and ensure your data is flowing correctly.
1. Verify That Cross-Domain Linking Is Set Up Properly
TripWorks uses cross-domain tracking to connect sessions between your website and your Experience Catalog. If this isn’t set up correctly, conversions may not attribute properly.

✅ Follow the detailed instructions in our Help Center to set this up:
2. Confirm That the TripWorks Script Is on Every Page of Your Website
TripWorks needs to be present throughout your site to pass relevant tracking data to Google Analytics. To find and install the script:
- Click the Setup gear in the TripWorks dashboard.
- Choose Create a widget.
- Select Create a Book Now button for my website, then click Install Now.
- Copy the JavaScript code shown, and paste it into every page of your website, ideally between the opening <head> and the closing </head> tag.

If the script isn’t installed everywhere, analytics events may not be triggered correctly.
3. Use DebugView to Monitor Live Events
Once the integration is set up, you can monitor real-time activity using Google Analytics DebugView. This helps confirm whether events from the TripWorks widget are reaching your GA property.
To enable Debug Mode in TripWorks:
- Click the Setup gear in the main menu.
- Select Google Analytics.
- Scroll down and turn on Debug Mode, then press Save.

To use DebugView in Google Analytics, follow these instructions from Google:

4. Be Patient—Conversions Don’t Appear Immediately
Sometimes it just takes a little time. Even with everything set up correctly, Google Ads and Analytics conversions can take up to 24 hours to display.
🕒 From Google’s support docs:
“Conversions can take 3 hours or more to appear in your Google Ads account. However, most appear within 24 hours. Conversions imported from Google Analytics may take up to 24 hours to be visible.”
