View & Edit Custom Field Responses

Learn where you can review and update the responses to your custom field prompts.

Once a trip has been booked, your team can review the booking details for that trip at any time from both the Trip View and the Manifest View. These booking details include any responses made to Custom Fields‍ during the booking process.


View & Edit Custom Field Responses from the Trip View

The Trip View allows you to review booking details for an individual booking group. From the Trip View, responses to custom fields appear in one of two places — either under the Bookings tab or in the sidebar menu. Where each response appears depends on which When to Show This Field setting is enabled for that custom field:

Responses to "for each booking on a trip" custom fields appear under the Bookings tab of the Trip View.


Responses to "once for each trip" custom fields appear in the sidebar menu, regardless of which tab is selected (Bookings, PaymentMessages, etc.).



To edit custom field responses from the Trip View, simply tap or click on the response itself, update the field, and tap or click elsewhere on your screen:



View Custom Field Responses from the Manifest View

The Manifest View allows you to review booking details for all booking groups of the date selected. Any edits you make to custom field responses using the Trip View will be reflected in the Manifest View in real time. If the custom fields you want to review do not appear as column headings, you may need to Customize the Manifest View‍.
