TripWorks allows you to easily assign a booking to one of your resellers. This ensures proper tracking for commissions, performance reporting, and partner management.

There are three ways to make a booking on behalf of a reseller:
 

Option 1: Booking via the Backoffice

1. From the toolbar, choose More > Resellers

2. Select the reseller to which the booking should be attributed. (If the desired reseller is not listed, they need to be connected. See Connect with Resellers for ‍guidance)  

3. Under the Trips tab, choose the Book button

Option 2: Booking via a Reseller Link

Each reseller has a unique booking link. When someone books through that link, the booking is automatically associated with the reseller, no manual selection required.

To find or share a reseller’s unique booking link:

1. Click the Setup gear in the top menu.
2. Select Resellers from the sidebar.
3. Choose the reseller you want to manage.
4. Scroll down to view their Direct Booking Link.

You can send this link to the reseller or embed it on their website.

Option 3: Book Using the Regular Process (with “Method” Selection)

If you’re using the regular TripWorks booking flow while logged in, you can still assign the booking to a reseller.

Steps:

1. Begin booking as you normally would—select the experience, date, and guest details.
2. On the Payment screen, look for the Method dropdown.
3. Choose Reseller as the payment method.
4. You’ll then be able to select the appropriate reseller and optionally a reseller agent.

If any special pricing or commission settings apply, the trip total will be recalculated automatically, and the updated pricing will be shown before you confirm the booking.

What If You Forgot to Assign a Reseller?

No problem! You can still edit a booking and assign a reseller after the fact.

1. Locate the booking in your TripWorks dashboard.
2. Click Edit.
3. Select the Reseller and click Save.

You may need to have permissions to change a reseller on an existing trip, and in some cases a trip reseller cannot be changed.
