Opening & Closing Timeslots

Opening, closing, and changing the visibility of timeslots

When circumstances require you to close, open, or change the status of a timeslot — bad weather, vehicle maintenance, low bookings — TripWorks gives you four ways to do it depending on how many timeslots you need to update and across how many dates.

  • Use the Calendar for one or two timeslots on a single date.
  • Use the Manifest for a single timeslot on the date you're viewing.
  • Use the Bulk Availability Editor for timeslots across multiple dates or activities at once.
  • Use the Activity Editor for multiple timeslots across multiple dates for one activity.

From the Calendar

  1. Navigate to the Calendar from the main navigation.

  1. Select the date and time block for the activity you want to adjust.
  2. Select the status indicator to the right of the timeslot and choose a new status.

  1. Repeat for each additional timeslot you want to update.

From the Manifest

  1. Navigate to the Manifest from the main navigation.

  1. Next to the activity you want to update, select the ellipsis (···).
  2. Select Change Timeslot Status…

  1. Select the desired status from the popup.

Using the Bulk Availability Editor

  1. From the main navigation, select More > Bulk Availability Editor.

  1. Use the filter icon to narrow by date range, timeslots, or activities.

  1. Select the timeslots you want to update.

  1. Select Change Status to apply the update.

Using the Activity Editor

  1. Select More > Activity Catalog from the toolbar.

  1. Select the activity you want to edit.
  2. Select Dates & Times from the sidebar.

  1. Use the filter icon to select a date range, timeslots, or activities.

  1. Select the timeslots you want to update and choose Change Status.
