Using the new Activity editor

The Activity editor — where you set up everything about an activity, from its name to its pricing and availability — has a fresh, more organized design. All the same settings are still here; they're now grouped into a clear side menu so you can jump straight to what you need. This guide walks through how it's laid out and where to find each setting.

Everything you set up before is still here and works the same way — nothing was lost, it's just reorganized. If you can't find something, click Beacon (the help button) and ask, use the search, or check the "Where did it go?" map near the bottom.

Getting around

When you open an activity, the editor has three areas:

  • The side menu (left) — every setting, grouped into Details, Pricing, Availability, and Other. Click any section to jump straight to it.
  • The settings panel (middle) — the settings for the section you're on.
  • "Where shoppers see this" (right) — a preview showing roughly where each field lands on your booking site.

Across the top you'll find the activity name, an Improve button (AI-assisted suggestions), a Live / Draft control that decides whether guests can book, and a Saved indicator — your changes save automatically, so there's no Save button to hunt for.

Details

  • Basics — the name guests see, an internal (staff-only) name, advertised length, duration, display color, and categories. Use the language tabs to add translations, and the General / Description / Advanced tabs for the rest of the listing copy.
  • Photos — the images for this activity.
  • Ticket Types — the ticket types you sell (for example Adult and Child).
  • Policies, Waivers, Custom Fields, Pickups — your cancellation policy, required waivers, custom booking questions, and pickup locations.

Pricing

  • Ticket Prices — set your base rate per channel (Website, Direct, Reseller), then add rate sheets for special pricing that applies on top whenever a booking matches. Use Test a price to trace exactly which price a given booking would get.
  • Deposits, Taxes & Fees, Add-ons & Upsells, Suggested Items, Vouchers — deposit rules, taxes and fees, extras guests can add, cross-sells, and voucher settings.

Ticket prices Base rates per channel, with rate sheets layered on top. "Test a price" traces any booking to the exact price it would get.

Availability

  • Dates & Times — every date and time this activity runs. Switch between Calendar and List, use Generate dates to build a recurring schedule, or Add timeslot for one-offs. The colored dots show each slot's status (Open, Open unrestricted, Private, Closed) and the number is the remaining capacity.
  • Capacity — choose how seats are counted: Unlimited, Per ticket type, per timeslot, Per timeslot (one shared pool), or By resources (capacity follows the boats, guides, or rooms you assign).
  • Restrictions, Resources — booking rules and the resources this activity uses.

Dates and times Every date and time this activity runs, in calendar or list view.

Capacity Pick how availability is tracked — a shared pool per timeslot, a pool per ticket type, unlimited, or by the resources you assign.

Common questions

Do I need to save my changes? No — the editor saves automatically. The top of the page shows Saved once your changes are in.

How do I make an activity bookable (or hide it)? Use the Live / Draft control at the top right. Live means guests can book it; Draft keeps it hidden while you work.

Is all my data the same? Yes. Every setting carried over exactly — the editor is reorganized, not reset.

I can't find a setting. Click Beacon (the help button on the right) and ask, or use the search at the top of your account.
