I issued a refund. Why can't the customer see the refund credit on their bank statement?

When you issue a refund on the same day as the original charge, it is known as a reversal

Unlike traditional refunds, reversals disappear entirely from customers’ bank statements and (depending on the card issuer) may disappear from any “pending purchases” categories as well.

If your customer is concerned by this lack of visibility on their bank statement, advise them to contact their bank to confirm that the charge did not go through.
