Reseller Booking Methods: Reseller Email Address

Track reseller sales through designated email addresses.

If you’re taking a booking manually and want to credit it to a reseller, you can do so simply by entering the reseller’s email address during checkout.

This is a fast and flexible way to assign reseller credit without needing to access a reseller portal or use a special booking link.

 

When to Use This Method

Use this method if:

  • You’re entering a booking on behalf of a reseller by phone or in person
  • The reseller didn’t use their direct booking link
  • You’re creating the booking in your TripWorks dashboard, and want to make sure it’s properly attributed 

 

How to Do It

  1. Start the booking process from the TripWorks dashboard.
  2. At checkout, enter the email address associated with the reseller’s account in the Guest Email field.
  3. Once entered, TripWorks will automatically recognize the email and assign the booking to the corresponding reseller.
  4. Complete the booking as usual.

The booking will be tagged to the reseller, and any applicable wholesale pricing or commissions will be applied automatically.

Setting the Resellers' Email Address

  1. From the toolbar, select More > Resellers

 

  1. Select the reseller whose settings you want to update. (If the desired reseller is not listed, they need to be connected. See Connect with Resellers for ‍guidance)  
  2. Under Settings, choose the General tab


 

  1. Under the Accounting Contact section, input the reseller's designated email address into the Email field


 

  1. Choose the Update button to save your changes

 

 

 

Important Notes

  • When booking, the buyer's email address must exactly match the one on file for the reseller in your system.
  • If TripWorks doesn’t recognize the email, the booking won’t be attributed to any reseller.
