If you accidentally booked a trip under the wrong reseller or need to update the reseller agent tied to the reservation, you can make those changes directly from the trip view—depending on the trip’s status and payment history.
Change the Reseller on a Booked Trip
To update the reseller associated with a trip:
- Navigate to the trip
- Locate the reseller name listed under the booking summary (e.g., “Adrenaline”)
- Select the pencil icon next to the reseller name

- Select a different reseller from the dropdown (e.g., “Bob's Hotel”)
- If the new reseller requires agent assignment, choose the agent from the dropdown

- Choose Save
Once saved, any changes to commission structure will automatically recalculate for the trip based on the new reseller’s setup.
Change Only the Reseller Agent
If the reseller must stay the same, but the wrong agent was selected, you can update just the agent without affecting pricing or commission:
- Select the pencil icon next to the current agent’s name
- Choose a new agent from the list
- Save your changes
This update is safe to do even after payment or invoicing.
When You Can’t Edit the Reseller
If an invoice has already been created for the trip (common for resellers using the Invoice + Manually Apply Payment method), the reseller field becomes locked:
- You won’t be able to change the reseller once an invoice exists
- You can still update the agent, since that does not affect commission or payment terms
