Your 1099-K is issued by your payment processor, not by TripWorks. At the beginning of each year, you will receive an email from Stripe with your 1099-K for the prior tax year, provided your account met the IRS reporting threshold.
Did Not Receive the Email?
If you have not received a 1099-K email from Stripe, check your spam folder. If you still cannot locate it, contact Stripe Support directly and they can resend it or confirm whether your account met the reporting threshold.
IRS Reporting Thresholds
Stripe is required to issue a 1099-K if your account exceeded the IRS threshold for the tax year. Thresholds have changed in recent years — check the IRS website or consult your tax advisor if you are unsure whether you should expect a form.
Sales and Tax Data in TripWorks
TripWorks does not issue 1099-K forms, but your reports contain detailed sales and tax data that may be useful when filing. Go to Reports in the top navigation to access revenue, tax, and payout summaries.
