Reseller Booking Methods: Unique Booking Widgets

Track reseller sales using custom-made booking widgets.

When you partner with resellers, there are various Reseller Booking Methods those partners‍ can use to accept bookings on behalf of your business. This article illustrates how reseller sales can be tracked using booking widgets. For this method to work properly:

  • Your team must produce unique booking widget(s) for each reseller. In other words, if you want to track the sales of both a local hotel and a local resort, you would need to create separate widgets for each one.
  • The reseller must use their designated booking widgets consistently when booking.

Review the instructions below for details.

Create Unique Booking Widgets for Partnered Resellers

  1. From the toolbar, select More > Resellers.
  2. Select the reseller whose settings you want to update. (If the desired reseller is not listed, they need to be connected. See Connect with Resellers for ‍guidance.)
  3. Navigate to the Widgets tab.

  4. Under Step 1, select the type of widget you would like to create. For more information about each one, visit TripWorks Booking Widgets‍.

  5. Complete the corresponding fields for your widget of choice. Expand the sections below for further guidance, as needed:

    Book Now Button

If you are creating a Book Now button for the reseller, go to Create a Book Now Button and complete the Widget Setup portion of the instructions, beginning with Step 2.

Next Steps

The reseller should follow the installment instructions to ensure their designated booking widget(s) are easily accessible to their team.

The reseller should then instruct their team to always reserve trips through their designated booking widget(s). Doing so will ensure their sales are properly attributed to the reseller within your TripWorks account, as shown below.
