Adding notes to a trip is a great way to keep your team members informed about the reservation, such as a request to reschedule to a different date or time. Adding a note to a reservation is for internal purposes only and will not be visible to your guests.
Difference Between Leaving Trip Notes and Flagging a Trip
- Trip Notes are used to provide general information or updates about a trip. These notes are visible to the entire team but do not require immediate action. They are typically used for logging important details, customer requests, or internal comments that don't need a specific follow-up.
- Flagging a Trip is meant to alert a specific team member for immediate review or action. When a trip is flagged, the assigned team member receives an automated alert (via email, text, or in-app notification). It is used when something requires direct attention, such as payment issues, special customer requests, or additional resources.
