Klarna is a "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) payment option that lets your customers split their purchase into interest-free installments or pay later. When you enable Klarna, customers can choose it as a payment method during checkout alongside credit cards.
Why offer Klarna?
- Increase conversions – Customers are more likely to complete bookings when flexible payment options are available
- Higher average order values – Customers tend to book more when they can spread payments
- No risk to you – You get paid the full amount upfront; Klarna handles collecting installments from the customer
- Included in normal payouts – Klarna payments appear in your regular Stripe payouts, just like credit card transactions
