There are times when you may need to cancel all trips for a specific timeslot or even for an entire day. This could be due to reasons like inclement weather, equipment failure, or unexpected closures. Canceling by timeslot allows you to manage isolated disruptions while keeping other schedules intact, whereas canceling for the entire day is useful for full-day closures or emergencies.

This article explains how to perform these cancellations and optionally notify all affected guests.

How to Cancel a Timeslot for a Single Activity

  1. Select Manifest from your dashboard

  1. Choose the activity you want to cancel from the left, or scroll down to locate it
  2. Select the ellipses icon in the upper right of the activity/timeslot you'd like to cancel

  1. Select Cancel All Passengers…

  1. A pop-up box will appear, providing options to notify all customers currently booked for the selected timeslot. Here’s what you can do:
  • Allow Passengers to Rebook to Another Activity: If you’re using the Self-Rebooking feature, you can enable customers to rebook to a different activity. If you prefer they only rebook to the same activity, leave this option unchecked.
  • Notify all passengers of cancellation: To send an Email and/or SMS to all customers booked on this timeslot, select this option.
  • Choose a Message Template: Select a pre-written template for the notification and, if needed, add an optional note to customize the message.

  1. Select Cancel X passengers to complete the cancellation

You will then see the status of the activity change to Cancelled

Important Note

When you cancel all guests on a single activity or cancel the entire day from the Manifest view, it changes the status of the time slot to “Cancelled.” If you’d like to reopen that time for future bookings, make sure to update the time slot status. Learn how to change the status of a cancelled time slot here.

Alternatively, if you don’t want to cancel the entire time slot, you can individually cancel each guest instead.
